Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2023 F-150 and 2023-2026 F-250 SD vehicles equipped with 8-inch SYNC infotainment screens. A software error may cause the rearview camera image to be obstructed by the infotainment home screen menu when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Broken camshaft Ford 7600

Had a Ford 7600 that broke a camshaft. The camshaft walked forward, breaking the retaining plate and the timing cover and sheared the camshaft and one of the retaining plate bolts off. Rebuilt the engine. When we fired it up it barely ran before locking up. Took the timing cover off and found that the camshaft retaining plate was broken and both bolts were sheared off. Any thoughts or advice? Is there a better subreddit to post this in?
