Looking for a mechanic that does house calls. Got an old (late 1960s) Ford 4500 tractor that just decided to stop running.... Was running fine moving a dirt pile, then the engine just stopped. Went to start it again, nothing. It wont turn over... I cant even get a click from the engine. I inherited the tractor from my dad who has passed away. Normally he did all of his own repairs. Anyone know of someone who knows old Ford Tractors south of Boston??

Looks like it's a 960. It's got a five speed transmission and a PTO shaft coming out the back. Battery and alternator seem fine, so I moved on to fuel related issues. In the third picture you can see an old fucked up rubber fuel line, held with hose clamps to a valve, then another few inches of rubber fuel line before it goes into a glas(subreddit rules won't let me type the second "s" on that word, but "fucked" is okay?) sediment bowl. I removed that sediment bowl and everything behind it, up to the fuel tank. Cleaned the bowl; it looks brand new now. Now we get to the couple questions I've had. 1. Can anyone tell me the names of the parts located AFTER the sediment bowl? It goes into that bigger oil covered part. One big hose looks like it goes to the exhaust I didn't follow it closely though. Otherwise things go UP into the engine. 2. Any idea what size that rubber fuel line is/needs to be when I replace it? How would I even measure a line that's so damaged? I could get an outside measurement with calipers but the inside is too damaged to get an accurate measurement, even if I tried. 3. Any other general thoughts? I hate wasting my time going all the way out there just to work on it for ten minutes before feeling like I need to do more research.

One for sale on our craigslist that checks the boxes says everything works. Let's say I break it - how hard is it to get parts? I'm assuming It'd be impossible to find someone to service - so i'd be on my own to wrench. Are there good resources online to fix?

What's the best way to start cleaning an engine like this? Lots of oil, diesel fuel, and seeds stuck to the outside of this engine and I'm curious if lightly pressure washing it will damage anything? What do other people do? It's been running great but just recently developed a leak in the fuel line and me and my friend, whose tractor it is, I've decided to take this time to give it a good once over. Thanks for any input! Note: I've experienced working on cars but I'm new to working on diesel engines, and tractors as well.
