Known Issues
I recently bought a 1955 international harvester / farmall 300 utility tractor. The starter is very weak and won't turn, but the engine is not seized for sure. I have someone coming over to take a look this weekend and I don't believe I can get a replacement by then. It has a 4 cylinder gas engine and my question is if I spin the starter gear with a drill or my 1/2" impact could that be enough to get it going?
Hey guys, I recently inherited a 1955 Farmall 100 and a bunch of implements for it. I figured now that I have a tractor I should start doing tractor things and I started plowing for a garden. I have a basic understanding of how everything works but I'm a super beginner. The issue that I'm having is that the plow sits at an angle and won't really dig likes it's supposed to. I've been told there's a bar that you bolt into the bottom that makes it sit level so that it'll dig deeper. I have that bar but I'm not really sure where it goes. I've done a bit of research but can't find any answers. Not sure if anyone here can help me, but if anyone can send a link to some kind of manual that would be great, thanks.
