finally, i have my dad's tractor running. SOMEONE (my DAD who knows NOTHING about engines) decided to screw the AFR adjuster all the way in, and started throwing ignition parts at it to fix the fact that it was running impossibly lean. SO! i basically pulled the adjuster out, choked it fully, and emptied the bowl because of course it's flooded, and she starts but runs awfully. i just wanted to start it and let it run for a little while to know that it runs stably. well, as stably as a rich mixture runs, anyways. i have a general idea of how to tune a carbeurettor, but i know that good tunes are specific to the engine and carb themselves. it's a late-model 3010 with the 254ci 4-cyl gas.

So I’ve bled the injection lines and finally have gotten fuel out of them. The tractor always had a slight miss when running. I don’t know if it’s just me, but when it’s running on starting fluid, as I’m showing in the video, it sounds like it has a knock.

My FIL just bought a John Deere 3010 T at auction. it has a F*sse remote master 4 female coupler. We've attached our #5 JD sickle Mower and we get nothing. The nuts on top of the cylinders go magnetic when you select the cylinder on the joystick and you can here a click. However no movement in the mower cylinder. Anyplace I can start to diagnose will help. I bought the 3010 Manual but it's being shipped. Thanks

I have a JD 3010 that will steer left but not to the right. It hasn't ran for about 5 years, pulled to the right and it just skidded. My understanding is it should still steer somewhat when not running? Unless something is dried out or a mechanical failure.
