Known Issues
After head gasket replacement, oil flows out of dipstick hole and excessive crankcase pressure develops. Oil is pushed from timing case toward turbo drain instead of flowing normally. Likely compression leak into oil galleries from head gasket installation error or defective gasket.
I’ve had my 3038E a lil over a year. These are my issues. First, the brake sensor broke. Not a big deal. Second, it would overheat every time I mowed the 7acre field. Only took a few min to spray it clean. Third, the hydraulics would start to get more and more slack. Forth, the seat sensor would shut the tractor down at the worst and most dangerous times... And the final last straw is when my rock
I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this but here goes.. I have an early model 3038 that won't start recently. I do not get an audible click from the fuel solenoid and it won't crank either. I have tested seat switch and neutral switch, both appear to be working properly testing continuity. PTO switch is down. I have tested all fuses. Battery is charged and appears to be good. I don't believe it is the fuel solenoid because I replaced that last year, when it failed the engine would still crank but not fire, obviously. When testing fuses I noticed three relays and wasn't sure the best way to test them. One is for the fuel shutoff solenoid. This is my best guess of the issue so far. I've done some research on other forums and the only other similar issue I have found was that the instrument cluster needed to be replaced because of a thermistor that failed. But this was on a newer model with common rail and no fuel shutoff solenoid. Not sure if that applies to me but it's probably the next thing I will look at if a relay doesn't solve it. Am I on the right track with the Relay? Any other possible causes? Thanks
I bought a used 3038e tractor 2018. I'm going to put an engine heater kit on it, and saw that there's also a transmission heater kit, what's the purpose of that, is it useful? I'd use a 3ph snow blower in winter - I'm in Canada. Just asking because I had a b2601 kubota but only had the engine block heater as an option...
