Known Issues
2008 JD 325 skid steer with 9800 hours experiences engine flutter and stalling after 10-20 minutes of operation. Engine refuses to restart until it cools down and fuel system is primed. Fuel primer button sucks down and stays down when engine dies. Issue persists even after extensive fuel system replacement and long block rebuild by authorized dealer.
The worst skid steer of all, I bought a 325G a few months ago and I regret it bitterly, extremely patrol machine, unbearable, impossible to work with it, I've already taken it twice to the sealer and they can't solve the problem, the last time it was for almost two months, they changed several parts but the problem remains the same. I'm hiring a lawyer to see if I can solve the situation, otherwis
I bought a John Deere z325e Zero Turn. First didn't start. Had to replace battery, 1 hour in belt broke, 20 hrs in transmission needs replaced and the seat stitching came apart. Warranty or not that's a lot in 20 hrs of usage. Will not recommend john deere any. Ag-pro in mansfield ohio is horrible to deal with. 3 weeks still no mower to mow with. Very disappointed in quality of mower no matter wha
Customer purchased defective 325G Skid Steer from Deere dealership for business. After ~40 hours use, persistent electrical issues emerged; complete wiring harness replacement now required. First breakdown at 18 hours forced job stoppage, causing financial losses. Dealer too backlogged; customer sought repairs elsewhere. Deere rep later said incident wasn't logged in system. Second breakdown; r...
So we went and looked at a New Holland workmaster 25H at the dealership. Between that and the Yanmar SA325 we were leaning towards the Holland....just beefier, not as "cushy" & comfortable but more of a workhorse. My husband is really leaning towards buying new bc of the warranty, no hidden issues factor. I'm choking a bit because of the price (it'll be about $25K out the door). So, I get on tractor house and start looking for some used tractors in our area. I found a 2022 holland workmaster, same tractor a few hours away w 245hrs for like $19K. I'm also looking at a used Kubota (2020) B2650HSD w around 600hrs for $20k (theres also the same model kubota, but 2012 w same amount of hours/600 hrs for $14k). Last of the Kubotas is a L2501HST for $19k (2016 model w 250 hrs). The used Deeres I found are also in the $22-23k range (3025E (600 hrs) and 3025D (19 hrs), respectively). So, I'm leaning towards the NH brand new vs the Deere since same price basically. Locally/private party I found a 2019 John Deere 3025E with 300E loader bucket. Hydrostatic transmission, 3 point hitch, ballast added to rear tires. Only 110 hours on it. Which seems like a steal (??!) But honestly trying to compare and weigh out pros, cons, what we really need has my mind boggled. Our needs: mostly loader work. We have 5 ac and horses. Spreading gravel/dirt/bark, pushing up manure piles -- think mostly home maintenance stuff. Possibly getting a PHD for putting in DIY fencing, maybe a box blade but ?? We've basically almost entirely cleared our property (90%) w the help of a friend, we have a rider for the lawns and horses eat the pastures. I really anticipate mostly using the loader, we have trees that occasionally come down so being able to move logs and rounds around, etc. Any guidance is appreciated. TIA! #
