Each of the recalled compact utility tractors has a 17-digit serial number located on the right side of the frame above the front axle. John Deere D140 burned to the ground in warranty. John Deere will not cover it and said it was probably dirty. It appears to be a fire that started around the coil. $2000 for this thing and it has 18.2 hours on it. Deere rep said it's my responsibility to prove the fire was their fault.

Two 4052M tractors purchased new; both needed repairs before delivery. 2018 model (614 hours) in shop 6 weeks; creep issue, abnormal noise, defective damper, transmission seal leak, peeling hood paint. Deere aware of damper issue; repair kit exists but no recall issued.

Engine displaying fault code 3719 (high DPF soot load) that cannot be cleared with generic scanners. Issue persists even after DPF removal with all wiring connected and sensors removed.
