Did I clean my dozer tracks well enough? Old timer told me t
low

Hey folks — I’ve got a John Deere 450G LT IV Dozer on loan from a buddy. I used it a few times, then parked it out front to wait for better weather. Twice now, an old timer has rolled down his window to yell at me: > I figured he wasn’t wrong, so today I broke out the shovel and cleaned things out. My assumption is that if I leave dirt packed in there, especially if it rains or freezes, it could seize things up. Here's a gallery of what it looked like after I cleaned it: 📸 [https://imgur.com/a/Yzk8tzC](https://imgur.com/a/Yzk8tzC) **Question for you seasoned folks:** Does this look clean enough? Is there anything I missed or should go back over? I’m not running it every day — just want to avoid damaging my buddy’s machine by letting it sit dirty too long. Appreciate any wisdom or tough love.

John Deere 450G Warning light help!

The "transmission/hydraulic oil pressure is too low" warning light comes on when using my dozer. All engine, trans, hydrolic oils ect. are full. Any other suggestions to check for a fix before calling someone to figure it out?

John Deere 450G LT IV Dozer won’t start — battery reads 12.2
low

Hey folks, I’m having trouble getting a 450G LT IV John Deere Dozer to start, and hoping someone can point me toward the next steps. **Background:** * I last ran the dozer for about **3 hours roughly 12 weeks ago** — no issues. * I started it up again **3 weeks later** — fired up just fine. * Then about **4 weeks ago**, I started it again and it had a **sluggish crank** — almost didn’t turn over, but eventually did. * Now, when I turn the key, I get a **few clicks, it beeps at me** and the engine **doesn't crank**. **What I’ve Checked So Far:** * **Battery voltage (engine off):** \~**12.2V** * **Battery voltage (while trying to crank):** **Still reads 12.2V** — no voltage drop **Symptoms Now:** * Turns over just a bit with **clicking**, but doesn’t crank * No major signs of life beyond that **Question:** What would you check next? I’ve heard there’s a way to **bridge across the starter** to test if the starter might be bad — is that the next logical step? Or would you check something else first? Thanks in advance for any advice!
