Known Issues
I have a 2 week old, 15 hours on the clock z515e (John Deere Zero Turn) and I am hoping to get a some help!? Everything was fine, until it wasn’t… I was mowing last week and the mower motor died (flat ground no major obstructions), and when I restarted to continue mowing. Once I engaged the mower deck again, it continually kills the engine. I googled and YouTube and can not find a reasonable sensible answer. I’ve put the mower on blocks and power washed the under areas clean. I’ve checked oil and the seat button, because the mower will drive. Just not mow. I’ve ordered HY-Guard Transmission fluid as it looks to be right on the line but could be low. My first John Deere, and I’m located in Central South Texas. Thank you.
Hello, I am in the market for a tractor and was leaning towards TYM 2515 for my 3 acres. I’ll be digging trenches, putting up fences, dealing with hay, plowing or snowblowing, etc. we will have horses with an outdoor arena so will be taking care of that as well. I keep seeing posts about quality and parts being an issue with them. I live in NH and there is a large dealer fairly close by who ensures me (of course they would) that they have no issues getting parts, etc. I have talked to two other people locally who also told me immediately don’t buy anything except kubota or John Deere. It’s hard to tell what to believe….obviously the value of TYM is great and the performance seems great (superior lift capacity by far, etc), but I want reliable as well. With a backhoe it’s something like 8-10k more money for a kubota or John Deere.
