Safety Recalls
On certain vehicles, the steering shaft could loosen and separate from the steering rack, causing a loss of steering. This could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and repair as necessary.

Known Issues
After injector replacement, tractor exhibits excessive smoke, hard starting, rough idle, and massive power loss. Diagnostic testing suggests fuel delivery inconsistency across cylinders, pointing to injection pump failure.
Durch ungenügende Sicherung kann sich die Verbindung zwischen Kegelrad und Welle der Lenkung lösen und zum Ausfall der Lenkung führen.
We finally got some snow, so I broke out the blower for my JD 855. 18F out but With the heated seat on I was nice and toasty.
Hey all, I’ve got a 1987 JD855 with the yanmar 3TN75RJ 3 cyl in it. I inherited this tractor with a piece of property that I bought and it was neglected at best. It’s never really run great. It’s always had excessive smoke in the exhaust and blow by out the PCV(?), but never really seemed to have any loss of power. So last year I replaced the injectors with new factory JD injectors with seals, and things have just gone downhill from there. Excessive smoke worse than before, excessive blow by worse than before, hard starting, rough idle, massive power loss with any type of load, even turning. Spoke with my local JD techs and they assure me it’s the injection pump, but that’s a $2k part that needs to be shipped out and rebuilt. So I did some minimal diagnostics with the tools I have. With the tractor running I cracked each of the injector lines at the injector, suspecting maybe air in the lines. I cracked each individually in turn, 1-2-3. When I crack all 3 lines, fuel comes out around the B nut. But with cylinder 1/3, the tractor sputters and tries to die. Injector 2, no change in idle. So my question, engine rebuild? Or injector pump? And if anyone has excellent parts resources for either it would be greatly appreciated!
The loader arm popped out of this connection and I had to pry it back in but it’s still pretty loose and doesn’t fully sit on the bar. The picture is before I put it back in. Any ideas on how to fix this and tighten up the connection so that it doesn’t come out again?
