We purchased John Deere D130, 42" cut mower on 6/21/13, total cost $2,050.92. On closer inspection at home, we found considerable rust on the motor shaft, under the cooling/air fin, top engine housing, etc. The dealer traded for an identical D130 that had been stored inside. At home, after removing the top air fin for inspection, we found rust, rust and more rust. Even the engine housing was pitte

I purchased a John Deere tractor, model D130 from A dealer named Finch in Calverton NY. Before purchasing the unit I told them I was going to use it for snow removal. The sales person in the office sold me on the D130 tractor and 44 inch snow blower attachment. I was given also chains, weights. I had them assemble it for me with the snow blower attached, because that is what my primary use was goi

I have been pass along to 3 dealers on my issue with my D130 Lawn Tractor. When you mow the lawn on number 3 you have a 2" wide strip down your lawn about 7' before the shoot. I had contacted JD main office and two local offices and brought the tractor in two times and still have the same issue. I first time they said the spindle was off and they had to order a new one, so I get it back and back t

Yes I'm a John Deere D130 owner. My D130 only has 103 hours on it. Last month while I was cutting my grass the motor made a clunk noise and shut off I tried to crank it back up but to no avail. I started checking the obvious things that I could. The plugs had a good blue flame, I checked the pistons with a wooden towel to make sure they were moving in and out but to my surprise they didn't move at all while I was turning the motor by hand, I also didn't get any compression while I held my finger over the plug hole. I can't believe I'm having this kind of motor problems with only 103 hours on it. Please help, I read where 1,000 hours or 10 to 15 years is common on there lifespan. I got this mower from my brother that bought it brand new and it only had 75 hours on it when I got it. He may have the receipt im not sure if he bought it at the dealer on Tanner Williams Rd. or Lowes. My email is **
