Engine failed after approximately 33 months of use, resulting in a gaping hole in the side where the starter attaches. Required complete engine replacement. User reports regular oil changes were performed.

After replacing the carburetor with a genuine new part, the engine started fine but died after 3 minutes when the user started the PTO and began cutting. After replacing the fuel filter, the engine makes unusual noise when the forward pedal is pressed and feels weak when starting the PTO blades.
