Tractor started knocking the end of Fall after working it pretty good. Kawasaki engine. It sounds like its coming from the back and knocking speeds up with higher rpms. I want to think its a pulley but does this sound familiar to anyone?

I just bought this john deere gt235 (2002ish?) And my second time using it the whole tire went flaccid. I can't even fill it with air to see if there was a hole because it's not sealed to the wheel. This tire looks newer than the other tire which almost looks dry rotted bit its still inflated. I'm an idiot and this is my first riding mower and I know nothing. Is there some way to seal it so I can fill it with air? Do I need a new tire? New wheel too? Where do I even buy one? Any advice would be appreciated.

I bought a new home last year and the riding lawn mower came with it. John Deere GT 235 with 10,000+ hours. I changed the oil for the first time today after mowing and it started up and ran for a 1-2 minutes. I began backing it into the garage, and it died. I tried starting it and it started but shut off right away. Now it won't start and the wheels seem to be locked so I can't push it into the garage. Any suggestions? I used the John Deere kit. I haven't had any issues with and have used it to move snow and now I'm Minnesota since last June. FYI I'm not real handy and have never owned a riding lawn mower or a John Deere, so nothing is too obvious to me. Thank you for any suggestions! EDIT: new fuel filter seemed to do the trick. I appreciate all the suggestions, I received a ton of great info that I can use in the future with my 10k hour Deere. I feel better prepared already, thanks everyone.

I wasn't five minutes into my mow when my mower suddenly started running rough. It sounded louder than usual and felt severely underpowered. I shut off the blades and was I was able to get it back into the garage. It backfired when I tried starting it again a couple times as well. I topped off the oil since it needed some anyways, the fuel and air filter were replaced back in may. I replaced the sparkplugs, still same problem. The mower will start and run, but still feeling rough and underpowered. It's an older tractor, but last week it was running fine. Could this be the fuel pump failing? Or is this an issue with the carburetor? I don't have much experience with engines beyond basic maintenance, so any insight would be appreciated.

John Deere GT 235 (1999) Cranks but wont turn over. Parked it for the year and used fuel stabilizer. Spark plug are a year old, has fuel, new fuel filter, has oil, battery is new. When I started it ran for a few seconds and died. Then it wouldn't start at all but continues to crank.. I suspected the carburetor needed to be replaced last year because it wasn't running the best. I replaced it today and it still wont start. It will turn over when I spray starter fluid into the carb but then dies. While testing I had the air filter off so it was definitely getting air. The old carb didn't have any fuel in it when I took it off. After putting the new carb on I checked the fuel lines and there fuel in the lines so it should be getting fuel. Am I missing anything obvious? It's a old mower and I don't want to put much more money into it. Any thought? Thanks for the advice in advance!
