Has 541 hours. 2003 John Deere LX277 All Wheel Steer lawn tractor with 48” deck, hydrostatic drive and 17hp Kawasaki engine. New hood, bumper, seat, battery and deck wheels. All tuned up and ready to mow, tires and belts in good condition. AWS makes it easy to make tight curves in landscaping and around trees. Only 541 hours. Asked why he was selling and he said: I am a retired Outdoor Power Equipment Instructor from Fox Valley Technical College. My hobby is repairing and selling John Deere lawn tractors. This was a working tractor that was leaking oil from the crankcase gasket. I took the engine off the tractor and replaced the gasket. Then I pressure washed the tractor from top to bottom, replaced the engine and checked everything for proper operation. The hood and seat were in need of repair, so I replaced them. I also repainted both the fender deck and the mowing deck. I recondition 10 to 20 of these tractor each year, and stand behind my work. I sell most of these tractors to my neighbors who come back each year for maintenance. Opinions? Is the replaced gasket any issue?
