Output Shaft Misalignment

I have a new Kubota B2301 with a BX2816 front end snowblower. I broke a shear pin on the right side (looking at it from the front). The output shaft is not aligned with the augers to get the fragment out and replace it. I can get a good look at it and the holes are not lining up by about half. No matter how far I pull the augers to the middle the holes will never line up enough. The left side lines up perfectly and I was easily able to replace that shear bolt. Is there a way to make an adjustment of the output shaft? Is it related to the chain tension?

Hello guys & Gals my brother and I both have a Kubota b2301, his is newer than mine but still same machine. My question is on his, he is coming up on the 50 hour service and he wants to know how to change the HST filters with out loosing a gallon of fluid or more, he wants to go out and spend $125.00 from Kubota to get what’s called a trackvac. I said hold off , let me ask my Kubota community. So how do you change the filters with out loosing any HST fluid? Here is a link to the trackvac video, it’s pretty cool but not $125.00 cool….

Anyone used a splitfire 3203 splitter with a b2301 Kubota?

I’m looking to buy one and connect it to the front hydraulic (don’t have aux hydraulic installed). I’m told it will work by the dealer but slower and at a lower tonnage as the tractor only provides 8.3gal per min. It looks like it’ll do a cycle in 14 seconds at 8gpm, a cycle in 9 at 14 gpm. So it’s slower but not terrible. Seems it works all the way down to 4gpm (at 28 seconds, eek). Does this seem like a reasonable trade off to experienced people out there? I want to split around 10 cords a year. It’s so much cheaper to buy this version than the gas powered version, so ideally i want to go for it but I’d love some second opinions. Thanks all!
