In March of 2020 I bought a B2601 Tractor and ordered the backhoe attachment. It is Now Dec 2022 still no backhoe attachment and Kubota says they don't know when I will get it and cannot offer any updates. I recently bought a Kubota B2601 with only 48 hours on it…saved $10k off new but that beside the point. I put ten hours on it then noticed hydraulic fluid on the gravel the next day. It was easy to trace the problem and an easy fix. I have no idea how much leaked out but it was a two foot wide circle. I have tried and tried to read the dip stick but it is impossible for me to tell the level. Clear liquid on a yellow stick. I added about a quart and still can’t tell. Any advice?

New Kubota B2601. The 3 point hitch control lever has a range of 1 through 8. The control lever does nothing from 1-4. Once I hit 5 the hitch starts to raise. This issue occurs with and without implements. I've contacted my dealer who tested their other B series tractors and said all of them do this. I've contacted Kubota who says contact my dealer. Any suggestions most welcome.

So I have a bit of a conundrum. I have a friend that has a bunch of black dirt he needs moved off his property, and my only way to get the kubota there is to put it in a 10 ft long dump trailer. The problem is, historically I've used my box scraper as a ballast weight while doing FEL work, but I won't have room to fit it with the tractor. I figured worst case I'd get a bucket and see how it feels and maybe go light on a few buckets, but wasn't sure if anyone had ballast less experience on this tractor.
