Known Issues
Trying to order a replacement part for a kubota mx5200 but can’t figure out what it’s called. It’s connected to the stick that controls front end bucket hydraulics. The swivel screw (with the Allen head) broke in half or else I’d just tighten it back down. I drilled out the broken screw but the remaining threaded part of the screw isn’t long enough and keeps slipping back out. Any help would be much appreciated
Hey everyone, I've had a 7ft grader delivered today but the salesman said he'd had second thoughts about it and didn't think it would suit my tractor. He ended up taking it back and will look into other options. The main issue he had with it was the weight ~360kg. We do have a very hilly property and the driveway is about 1km long with 100-150m of elevation. The tractor is an MX5200D with water filled rear tires and a loader with bucket on the front. This is the grader (esm21 with the wheel): https://www.cih.com.au/tractor-implements/3-point-linkage-equipment/essential-graders/essential-series-medium-grader/ I definitely appreciate him looking out for me on it but I am a little confused as I've received conflicting advice from others. 1. The same salesman originally recommended it 2. The dealer I purchased the tractor from had offered an 8ft one that was even heavier. The only reason I didn't go with that one was that it was more than twice as expensive 3. Family recommended 'heavier the better' and suggested looking into similar ones I guess I'm just hoping to clarify whether despite his good intentions he might have the wrong info or if he's probably right? Is there a rough guide I can follow to work out what might be suitable?
