Massey Ferguson 135 knocking

Just seeing if anyone has had the same issue. I was bush hogging with my mid-60s MF135 and got a sudden knocking, low power, and the fuel pump shooting oil out of the weep hole on it. I still had oil pressure and parked it immediately. I replaced the fuel pump and it started right up but it’s still knocking and has good oil pressure. I’ve heard it could be injector related but not sure how to verify that. Could it be air in the lines?

As you can see the lever wants to try but it doesn’t actually do anything. Does anyone know what the issue is?

I’m just into rebuilding the head of my mf135. I’ve got new valves. A bag of new seats. Do I need the new seats, and should I or should I not be lapping new valves. I’ve heard both ways. Or are both of these just kind of wasted effort on such a small engine

Finally found the culprit…. Unfortunately I’m assuming the the crank shaft has to be replaced since the bearing was destroyed.

Just finished rebuilding the engine of my mf135. I also replaced the hydraulic pump.. but now my lifter arms are pegged to the top.. what did I do wrong?
